Welcome to Thurston County Horse 4-H's 2025 Pre-Fair event!

Performance Pre-Fair will take place on Saturday, July 12th, with showmanship beginning at 8am.

Gaming Pre-Fair will take place on Sunday, July 13th, with gaming showmanship beginning at 8am.

Vet check for the Thurston County Fair is available both Saturday and Sunday at 7:30am.

FEE INFORMATION:

Pre-Fair is a formal show with paid judges, ribbons, and placings. As a horse department, we charge a registration fee for this event. Due to the new registration process on Fair Entry, our fee process is different this year.

(1) All participants will need to register with Fair Entry for the classes they wish to do. Please remember that Showmanship (Fit & Show) is a required class for every horse/rider combination. If you plan to show multiple horses, you will need to sign up for showmanship with each horse.

(2) Payment will NOT be finalized over Fair Entry. (Note that the program will show a default invoice of $0.) Instead, all participants will pay their fees at check in on the day of the event. The Horse Dept can accept cash, check, and venmo.

(3) 2025 fees for Performance Pre-Fair = $9 per class if registration is posted on Fair Entry by July 1st, and $12 per class if registration is posted on Fair Entry after July 1st.

(4) 2025 fees for Gaming Pre-Fair = $40 for the day (including Western Games Showmanship) if registration is posted on Fair Entry by July 1st, and $60 for the day if registration is posted on Fair Entry after July 1st.

(5) There will not be stall fees this year. While the cost of the performance classes has increased, the overall total will actually be less this year due to the elimination of the stall fee.
